Affinity Programs

Through curated partnerships with carefully selected companies, our members gain exclusive benefits while generating support for our mission.

Aon Benchmarking

The MPL Association in partnership with Aon produces the MPL Industry “Staffing Productivity & Innovation Study.” This collaboration is the direct result of discussions held with members about the need for resources to evaluate the effectiveness of their operations and the desire for more specific staffing and productivity detail.

Through participation in this affinity program, MPL Association members gain the ability to:

  • Gauge staffing by level and job functions
  • Compare expenses across internal and external measures
  • Explore contemporary productivity and business practices
  • Compare innovation strategies and systems being implemented

As part of a multi-year program with MPL Association members, Aon absorbs the costs to establish each company’s framework and build reporting templates. MPL Association members can immediately measure performance to assist with future planning and trends over time.

“Aon is working with a cross-section of MPL members and has assisted one organization in identifying savings over $900,000”
~ Jeff Rieder, Aon

Premium Financing

This program enables access to premium financing at or below market rates. The target market is the MPL Association’s member company policyholders in both the standard and excess and surplus markets.

Our partner in this venture is Interstate Healthcare. Interstate Healthcare has a long history of serving the MPL market and has significant knowledge of the premium finance industry. Our consultants at Interstate Healthcare negotiated a program that provides significantly lower rates for MPL member company insureds, with down payments as low as 10% for standard policies, compared to the norm of 15%. Excess and surplus lines down payments will be 15%, compared to the norm of 25%, due to the typical 25% minimum earned premium provisions.

For more information regarding the program or participation, contact Interstate Healthcare consultants Charles Marlin at chuck@medmalquotes.com or Joe Inwald at jinwald@medmalquotes.com; or at 800-419-5999.
