Data Sharing Project
Gastroenterology 2009-2018

Gastroenterology claims and lawsuits closed between 2009 and 2018 were reviewed in the MPL Association Data Sharing Project. Among the internal medicine subspecialties (4,982 closed claims/958 paid claims), cardiovascular disease (1,714/398), gastroenterology (1,307/273), and pulmonary disease (731/105) were the top three specialties in closed claims and paid claims.
