Deepika Srivastava Appointed to MPL Association Board of Directors
(Rockville, MD, July 17, 2026)—This week, the Medical Professional Liability Association (MPL Association) Board of Directors appointed Deepika Srivastava to the Association’s Board. The MPL Association is the international organization representing the medical professional liability insurance community.
Srivastava is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of The Doctors Company. Prior to her role as COO, she was Executive Vice President of MPL and TDC Group Shared Services, where she had the responsibility of running the operations of the medical professional liability line of business. Srivastava also led the shared services of Technology, Cybersecurity, Innovation, and Enterprise Project Office for all TDC Group business units. She began her career at The Doctors Company as a Business Systems Analyst with AP Capital and progressed into leading information technology as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. Srivastava is recognized as an industry leader in innovation and the responsible application of artificial intelligence, championing a disciplined, data-driven approach that leverages AI and advanced analytics to improve business performance while keeping human expertise at the center of decision-making.

On June 26, Edward (Ned) Rand, Chief Executive Officer, ProAssurance, resigned from the MPL Association Board of Directors upon the completion of the ProAssurance and The Doctors Company transaction. Srivastava’s appointment will be for one year with eligibility to be elected for continuing service on the Board at the 2027 Annual Meeting of Members.
