Anderson of MIGA, and Michele J. Johns, JD, of Cleveland Clinic to serve three-year terms on the Association’s Board of Directors.

Mandy Anderson is CEO and managing director of Medical Insurance Group Australia (MIGA), a doctor-owned medical mutual insurance company. For the 21 years prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Johns worked for Indiana University Health where she held a variety of positions including vice president and chief risk officer and president of Indiana University Health RRG Inc. From 1990 to 1999, Johns practiced privately in the area of litigation, ultimately defending healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions. She holds the Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Manager (CPHRM) designation.

“These leaders bring great expertise and perspective to the Association,” said MPL Association President and CEO Brian K. Atchinson. “We are fortunate to have them join us to continue our important work to serve our members and advance the mission of the organization.”
